I have a paralegal degree from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies, and I find myself drawn to family law. When I decided to go back to school, I was employed as an accounts receivable coordinator and billing specialist where I managed multimillion dollar accounts in the energy sector. Prior to that, I was employed as a telecommunications officer and 911 dispatcher.
Currently, I write family law content for attorneys whose clients are overwhelmed, confused, and in the hardest moments of their lives. I also write about Inflammatory Breast Cancer. I was diagnosed at 30 and I'm still in active treatment. It has made me a more honest writer — and it's the reason I created The Big B Word, a blog for patients and families navigating IBC.
